A Govindasamy & Co was registered as a sole proprietor company in 1937. On it's 80th year, with effect from 30th June 2017, the company was made dormant and began to operate as a social enterprise.
Wanting to be useful, the Company has now transformed to an enterprise making regular contributions and donations to uplift the spirits of care-givers in charitable organisations. One of such contributions included a yearly (every November) delivery of cakes to Singapore Red Cross home and Thye Hua Kwan Home for the Disabled to thank them for their hard work. All proceeds from the sale of the book "Yes! It's all about my daughter!" (available at Amazon & Carousel) was given to ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) as a gift from A. Govindasamy & Co. The owner of Blue Bali Robert Greatbatch (Middle RIght) presented the funds to ACRES. (Middle Left)

On 22nd August 2018, Patrick Clifford gifted some footwear to our public sanitation team; who run with the truck picking our Rubbish and keeping our estates clean.
Patrick is a family friend of Mr A Govindasamy, and is from North Carolina, USA.

A. Govindasamy & Co’s 81st Anniversary was held at Lina’s Cafe, 7 Jalan Pisang, which supports Autism awareness. The highlight of the day was celebrating National Day.

"On August 2021, Dzul contributed some provisions to our local waste management team, who runs with the truck, collecting our municipal solid waste (refuse) and recyclables from our estates, keeping it sanitized.
Dzul is a friend, and he is from Selangor, Malaysia.
With the theme of this year NDP "Together, Our Singapore Spirit", embracing us that we are always together.

Motivational Book “BOUNCE” being sold on behalf of A.Govindasamy & Co in February 2023. The proceeds from the sale of the book "Bounce" go to Thye Hua Kuan and Red Cross.This motivational book is an excellent book for people from all walks of life.
Buffet Lunch for Seniors of THK AAC @ Cassia - Gift from A. Govindasamy & Co
On 18 May 2023, a buffet lunch was catered for 80 elderly individuals at THK AAC @ Cassia. This not only brings them a delicious meal but also a sense of belonging and joy. An experience they rarely have due to their mobility.

On 22 June 2023, Red Cross Home at Bukit Merah and THK Eunos received cakes gifted from A. Govindasamy & Co.
